|
A refuge, or rural refuge, is a place or a house, often in country, where one temporarily can be lodged. The concept is equally called rural Tourism generalizes itself everywhere in Europe. In France, a big party of the refuges labellisée by the National Federation of the France Refuges was founded in 1955, that aims to assure a welcome quality replying to precise criteria. Of other refuges are labellisés Welcome Farming, Clévacances or "sun Flowers". In Belgium, the Federation of the Wallonia Refuges follows the same goals, it some is of even to the Quebec (Canada) where the refuge a residence deprived exploited as housing establishment offering to the more 5 rooms and of which the housing price understands the served breakfast on the spot. Equally called Comforter, Coffee or again Bed & Breakfast, this is l' equivalent of room of hosts in France. Created in 1995, the regional natural park of the French Vexin spreads itself on 94 towns of the departments of the Valley-d one' Oise and Yvelines. It covers an area of 65 670 hectares of which 53 686 hectares in the Valley-d one' Oise (77 towns) and 11 984 hectares in the Yvelines (17 towns) and concerns directly close to 80 000 inhabitants. The French Vexin spreads itself between the epte to the west (that the separates Norman Vexin and constituted historically the border between the royal domain and the Normandy dukedom) and the oise to the east, and stops itself to the Seine to the south. To the north limit is marked by two small water courses the esches and the Troësne. Plateau limestone cover with silts very valloné, of an altitude varying between 100 and 140 m, this the left former county of the Vexin, divided at the time of the treaty of Saint-Clair-sur-Epte in 911. The natural park recovers only the south of the historic French Vexin, with the exception of the towns urbanized alongside the Seine and oise, the north, around Chaumont-in-Vexin being situated in the department of the oise (Picardie). Alone two towns of the Valley-d one' Oise incluses in the foreseen perimeter did not sign the charter and remained outside of the park: The Chapel-in-Vexin and Ambleville. The inclusion of the towns of the district of Chaumont-in-Vexin, foreseen to the origin, did not know continuation; in fact, a park managed by three departments and two regions (Island-of-France and Picardie) seemed with difficulty manageable to the era. Seen the creation in 2004 to few distance of the regional natural park France oise-pays, managed by the two quoted regions, it is not impossible to term that the towns Vexinoises of the department of the oise rejoin the perimeter of the natural park. His social seat, called "house of the park", is installed since December 4 1995 in the castle of Théméricourt (Valley-d one' Oise). This castle welcomes also in its common ones, the museum of the French Vexin. The zone of the park essentially is devoted to farming. The maintenance and the development of this traditional activity, while the orienting towards diversification and the respect of the environment, is the one of the principal orientations of the political one followed by the regional park. The logo - a wheat épi rippling and a cross pattée - evokes the agricultural vocation of the French Vexin and the wealth of his historic heritage. |
